Microsoft Releases New Windows 11 Insider Build with AI Agent Connectivity
Microsoft has released the Windows 11 25H2 preview build 26220.7344 for Insiders on the Dev and Beta Channels, introducing the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for AI agent connectivity. The MCP will enable AI agents to connect securely with apps and tools. The build also brings new features like Quick Machine Recovery, Unified Update Orchestration Platform, Windows MIDI Services, and improved ‘Open with’ app integration. The AI integration will further extend to the taskbar for enhanced functionality. Users on the Dev Channel should expect to move to higher build numbers eventually. However, they can switch to the Beta Channel for more stable builds.
