Introducing ChatGPT Atlas: OpenAI’s New AI Browser for macOS
OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Atlas, a new browser specifically designed to seamlessly integrate with ChatGPT accounts on macOS. Users can easily set up the application by dragging the Atlas icon into their Applications folder, signing in with their ChatGPT account, and migrating data from their existing browser, such as passwords, bookmarks, and browsing history. Additionally, Atlas allows users to opt-in for browser memory to assist ChatGPT in retaining information over time. After completing the setup process, users have the option to designate ChatGPT Atlas as their default browser, which OpenAI claims will provide enhanced usage limits for a week. Atlas aims to enhance the integration of AI assistance into everyday web browsing, offering a unified browsing and AI experience. Currently, Atlas is exclusively available on macOS, with Agent mode accessible in preview for Plus, Pro, and Business users. OpenAI has revealed plans to release Atlas for Windows, iOS, and Android soon. To download ChatGPT Atlas for Mac, interested users can access the download link provided by OpenAI.
