Partnership Between SLB and AIQ to Revolutionize ADNOC Energy Efficiency with AI

Schlumberger N.V., known as SLB, has announced a partnership with AIQ, an Abu Dhabi-based AI specialist, to enhance energy efficiency at ADNOC using agentic AI technology. The collaboration aims to optimize ADNOC’s subsurface operations by leveraging AIQ’s ENERGYai solution. By integrating large language model (LLM) technology and advanced agentic AI, this solution is customized to streamline workflows within ADNOC’s upstream value chain. Initial trials with 15% of ADNOC’s data have demonstrated significant improvements in seismic interpretation speed and accuracy. The collaboration plans to introduce new AI workflows focusing on geology, seismic exploration, and reservoir modeling. SLB will offer support through its Lumi data and AI platform along with other digital technologies. A scalable version of ENERGYai is in progress, designed to cover various tasks within subsurface operations. Deployment is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, with the aim of enhancing efficiency and decision-making across ADNOC’s operations. The partnership signifies a commitment to innovation and data-driven energy solutions, aiming to deliver substantial benefits to ADNOC. By harnessing agentic AI, the companies seek to optimize production and drive operational excellence in the energy sector.
